It was probably a C-5 out of Bradshaw. The navy had their new EIS for comment last week, and it basically turned the whole Hawaiian island range plus the length of the Midway islands into a test and training range. Guess nobody was interested. Most of the test and training had been Oahu and west since WW2, so this is a huge expansion. There is no reason this air traffic is being done the way it is where it is. The bombers and cargo could be routed out north, then operate at least 20 miles off the coast, instead of buzzing the southeast coastline at 2000 ft. The helicopters are probably out of Pohakuloa and they are just going to be all over the place at different times.
