Jennifer, I have a "mother" moringa that is currently flowering... and if you would like to "try before you buy" or at least try before you plant (the leaves are kinda like spinach & can be used both cooked & raw like a small leafed spinach salad), feel free to stop on by (email through the forum works...we are in "downtown" Keaau, so "on the way" for most of Puna...)
I have had some luck starting from cuttings... & have 4 cuttings I started last month for RP that are not dead (one even has the first leaf buds just starting to appear - it does take a bit for these things to take off, but when they do, they are normally good...) most of the time the tree needs trimming, so no problem trimming some branches if you would like to try rooting a cutting... unlike many plants, from the readings I have done, the branch starts are fairly large & do take some time to root...
I also have a file of links for recipes & moringa plant info if you would like, can send (also think I have posted the links in the past - just search moringa olifera on the forum...)
