Someone mentioned Hamakua

From my Wx station:

July 2011 : 6.63 inches
July 2012: 13.1 inches

As for sunshine, we are totally off grid, generate our electricity via PV solar, diesel generator backup:
July 2011 ran generator 1 day total 3 hours
July 2012 ran generator 12 days total 30.4 hours
