Monsanto buys one of the Leading Bee Research Co's
#9
The whole thing is far too complex for me to begin to understand. But, as a person and a homeowner I can tell you I am highly distressed.

My yard got out of control when I had to go to Texas in 2010. The neighbor weedwacks with a monstrosity of a weedwacker and I promise you the debris flies 20 or 30 feet onto my property. I have a 10 year old $60 lawn mower from WallyWorld.

So I used the generic roundup on only about an 1/8 of the acres and I haven't found not one bee on my property since. Only last week did I see a couple of the big black bees that hover around the lilikoi.

The real question is not why would they buy, but why would THEY sell.
