Carol! It is not too far...I too was concerned about the distance but I am feeling the benefits of using the Pilates Cadillac/Reformer!
I have done mat work in the past and it was good, but the resistance the Reformer offers cannot be achieved via mat work. If you have a friend take advantage of the Semi Private classes. I could not believe that anyone on this side would have a Reformer.
She has two units one is a STOTT PILATES V2 MAX Plus Professional Reformer, the other is also a STOTTT unit. I look forward to my sessions and I do not have to drive all the way to Hilo!
I feel that flexibility, lengthening of the muscles, agility and balance are the corner stone to longevity. We are all marching towards those legendary Golden Years....Someone lied...they are not Golden more like The Tarnished Era.
