Anyone know anything about the Cape Kumukahi Foundation? Do they actually exist or do anything? The ED of this organization has a post that is going around extensively on Facebook today in Puna. It is full of conjecture and seems designed to almost induce a panic. Much of the information is presented as "FACT!!!!" with overuse of exclamations and all caps. The post also insinuates that people should be prepared to go without power, basically for good after Oct 8. This kind of hyperbole is not helpful and conveniently ignores many unknowns and specific information that has come from Civil Defense, the Mayor, and HVO.
