Does anyone belong to a group they think others here would enjoy?
For instance, I belong to
Vireya Society (American Rhododendron Society): Tropical Rhododendrons in fabulous colors. meets noon 3rd Sunday each month at Keaau Senior Center. Speaker, plant auction and truss give-aways, potluck lunch. Visitors welcome.
Big Island Water Garden Club: All about ponds and water gardens. meets 7pm 3rd Tues each month at Keaau Senior Center. Speaker, plant auction and give-aways, potluck pupus. Visitors welcome.
Minihunes Scale Miniature and Dollhouse Club. Every other Monday at noon, various locations in East Hawaii. Brown bag lunch, socializing, and working on projects. Show at Wailua Center next February. Contact me if you're interested in joining, or just to connect with other miniaturists.
Friends of the Library. Run book and bake sales to raise money for books and programs at the library. Each library has its own group, ask your librarian for details.
Puna Lions Club. Part of Lions Club International. Service group helping Lower Puna. http://punalions.org/ for more info.
Anybody wanna brag on their club? Maybe Bamboo, Orchid or Palm Society? Other service groups?
