Any other big island kids have rashes right now?

Vaccines aren't 100% effective; for mumps I think it's something like 98% but that still leaves 1/50 vaccinated people potentially able to get it, and I bet there are a lot of anti-vaccine people in Puna. That's why it's important for everyone to be vaccinated in order to eliminate the disease.

Allergies would be all over as well. Does he have a fever and otherwise is sick? If so that would point more to mumps, if not then to some kind of allergy.
