Home schooling is only as good as the parents are willing to make it. I know young adults who got wonderful educations from homeschooling, and I know others who are functionally illiterate due to the poor job their parents did at "educating" them. Not every parent is up to the task of home schooling, and the role of parent and the role of teacher are not the same, so make sure you are truly committed before embarking on this task.
