Hubby got a REAL greenhouse indoctrination. We bought and mved 12 bags of soil and amendment to fill out the empty or "dust" dried out raised beds, dug them all out amd nixd everything. . He has learned the "joy" of getting your hands into an amendment filled with manure and other nutrients. W are both limited in lifting but get this.... I DROVE THE BI TRACTOR TODAY and used it to shift the bags from his truck to the greenhouse. Once up on a few raised beds it wasn't quite so hard to get to a shoulder one bag at a time. Have a few mor to go as we petered out after about 90 minutes but I figure that is a great start. It was wonderful to have his help. He has never been involved in the greenhouse.. There is still a TON of clean-up to do for grass and weeds growig through the floor and the hot house needs to be cleared out 75% and new plants started... mostly tomatoes and cucumbers. Still, I am very excited.... okay nd very very tired. Glad we have leftover lasagna for dinner. Hauled out a 50 gallon bag of trash and there are quite a few more to go. still.... it's great progress. Anyone wants to come see it in full bloom, wait four to six months. Yay!
