HI, Pam! How are you feeling? I was just reading 18 pages of introductions on an old thread (um, yeah, home with the kids and I daresay a wee bit bored) and read your thread, and realized you are uniquely qualified to answer some employment questions I have. How do you think the job situation for RN's on the BI is these days? It seems to me to be absolutely terrible and I met at least 8 new grad nurses last year, and some with experience also- who were all unemployed. And my second question involves secondary school SPED teachers. Did your husband ever get back into his profession here on the island? The job situation there seems more promising, but I read today they are probably cutting out a lot of those extra instruction hours in Keaau. HOw does your husband feel about team teaching? Or did he prefer to work in his own SPED classroom. Mahalo!
