Pet Shippers?

When we had to fly thru thru HNL with your pet(s), we had to go to the Quarantine station at the HNL airport with our documentation to have them officially released. The station was hard to find for us years back. It was all the way to the far end of the terminal (near the interisland terminal with few signs. Our dog had to be flown cargo later that evening so we had Jackie Kapua (we got a list from AG) transfer him to the cargo flight and we picked him up there. What a hassle! We were so glad to be able to direct ship to Kona.
If you can't get a direct flight into Kona, I would be tempted to drive to SF to get one.
Kona Veterinary service is good at directing you to carriers who fly direct into Kona.
This is how it was 7 years ago. Not sure about now.
