Why does this bill address ONLY unpaved roads?
Because of the dust issue? (Which we all know is a Co of HI past oversight, letting business/$$$ dictate actions as usual; in this case the developers getting free passes and us getting reamed down the 'road').
What about the conehead(s) driving 50-60mph on the main arteries? All good there? Everyone's fine with this? "Sir, 55+mph is fine on Paradise, but you'll have to bring it down to 15mph or less on unpaved side roads. Sir."
I won't be supporting this until it addresses all roads.
Furthermore, for the record, I'm happy to pay more road fees for shoulders or (gasp) even sidewalks, on the main arteries.
I will not, however, be paying more road fees because some whiner (or 3, in this case) bitched about the dusty road in front of their house that they purchased on a dusty road, and the HPPOA board subsequently cowered in fear and ignorance when big brother came knocking.
