Questions regarding pending move

I would strongly recommend renting a house in the neighborhood(s) you're thinking of moving to. A few years back, we stayed in Leilani for several days, and looked at houses in Leilani, HPP, and Hawaiian Acres (just houses on or just off the paved roads). We picked Leilani because of closer proximity to "town" and the fact the neighborhood seemed more uniform than HPP or Hawaiian Acres. Also, some of the houses in HPP are quite a distance from 130, and turning onto the highway can sometimes be a chore. Obviously, many people live there and love it. But I'd recommend renting a house and seeing for yourself.
