We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at The Rim last night. The food and service was good. We made reservations and had a nice view of the crater from our table. True, it is not the same as in years gone by, but is is nice to see the place reopened. They do have a keike menu with prices between $7 (pasta)and $12 (fish).
I had the steak and crab combo ($39), hubby had the steak of the day ($32). I like that they are using local ingredients. It would be nice to see that fireplace lit again, some live dinner music added, the decore warmed up somehow. On the other hand, they did have linen napkins and tablecloths, fresh flowers on the table, and the view of the crater makes for pretty spectacular dinner entertainment.
