Thank you all for your interest and concern, whether you admit to being a regular follower or not.
So, obviously Pahoa Ted is pretty well versed on this stuff...
My webmaster Bruce Albrecht's real job is managing fireworks displays, and he was pretty busy late last week when the hosting service notified him late last week of some issues. And yes it has to do with some predatorial-like requests... Pahoa Ted might understand this message... "We have been reviewing the traffic logs for your site for the time leading up to the suspension and we see that in the hour prior to the suspension your site received over 2400 requests for the file xmlrpc.php from the following three IP addresses..."
"It appears that this was an attempt to either post lots of span to your site or else to just bring the site down. We have now blocked these IPs from accessing your site..."
And now Bruce is making recommended changes to optimize BIC. I don't want to give any false promises as to when all the changes will be made and the site will be up and running.
I have plenty of content to upload, considering I just sent my one-year anniversary print edition to the printer... So, I'm chomping at the bit to get the website up and running again.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, and again, thanks for your interest and concern, posting a topic here. FYI, I don't follow PUNAWEB, I only visit here when someone brings a topic to my attention. If you ever have any questions or comments about my newspapering, including my website and print version, or my style of journalism, or you have a story idea, etc., you can feel free to email me at newswoman@me.com, or you can call me at (808) 938-8592.
Thank you.
