I've been buying this Freeze Dried stuff in a #10 can from Oahu. Shelf life is anywhere from 7 to 25yrs.
The brand is Thrive. Fresh food is always better, but storing a few months worth in the back of a closet
is not a bad idea. We do live on this little dot in the middle of NO where. There is going to be a lady at the HPP
Swap Meet tomorrow who finally sells it here. I like the idea of filling a closet or under a bed and forgetting about it until you need it. With that shelf life you can do it. I've tasted several and not bad. I still want fresh until it is not available. Worth looking into. I think she is also going to be a the Emergency Preparedness fair in Keaau HS in AUG.31.
