Big Island land appreciation

Those 20k lots are going to be great investments for you, 8fingers. At the peak they would have sold for closer to 60-70k.

I've also noticed that asking prices for rentals in Puna seem to be creeping upward. I could never figure out why the rents have been so low. Why a person would retire to the midwest when they can rent a nice home for $1200 in Hawaii is beyond me.
