Shoes that grow
#1
On NPR today I heard about a young man, a volunteer at an orphanage in Africa, who invented a children's shoe that would grow with the child... which means they can be adjusted for size as the child grows.

The shoes are designed to last about five years, cost about ten dollars and are intended for a warm climate.

Seems like we have families in Hawaii that could use these... or perhaps someone might have ten or twenty bucks they might want to donate to a very worthy and very creative cause.

I'm going to pass this on to my contact at Pahoa Elementary as see what she thinks.
