Based on the research on this forum, especially this (old) thread, we just finished having our driveway graded and base course installed- and what a fight it was! Over half a dozen times the dozer operator took my husband aside and tried to convince him that cinders would be fine, (and cheaper). Didn't listen, paid more for the base course, and am very happy with the results. Thanks Punaweb!
