Why I am greatful that Hawaii is a "welfare state"

I would have done just that. Even at age 18 (37 years ago) I knew what social security really was. I am very much a saver and I would have saved that amount as well. I would have an *extra* $1,700.000 at age 65 by NOT participating in the pyramid scheme that is social security. Since I "participated" from age 18, I will "partake" at age 65.... (I need it to make those payments on that 150 foot yacht to get me back and forth to my condo on Maui)
