If I ever get to set up my dream permanent campsite on a remote lot in Ka'u or South Kona for an off grid weekend get away site, I would buy my shelter from these folks:

We used one of their grow domes for a greenhouse on the mainland for years, as well as several of their grow rows. I have been in several of the big domes they make at festivals and other events and they are very nice inside and out.
I think this is about the best deal per cubic foot for temporary portable shelter you are ever going to find. My brother went through a serious dome building phase in the seventies and as a permanent structure I agree with Rob.
