Is it OK to use ONLY Kiawe firewood?

Is it safe to burn ONLY Kiawe in a wood stove as a primary source of heat (Pa'auilo Mauka 2200 feet.) Or will only Kiawe get too hot. I can get either ONLY Kiawe, or a mix with some Kiawe in it.
