Big Island *takes first step* in banning GMO's

America has a long history of embracing scientific discoveries before they are fully examined and determined to be as safe and as beneficial as they are sold to be. GMO food is just another rush to market get rich quick scheme. The farmers are being duped just as much as the consumer. Meanwhile the revolving door that connects the GMO industry and the government regulators ensures that we the people have little to no say on the matter. This bill is a great step towards leveling the playing field.
