msrocket: Bingo. Old Twilight Zone episode where aliens come and are all friendly, and start transporting humans to their planet. They have a book and a guy starts translating it. Cover is "To Serve Mankind", which humans take to mean that the aliens have dedicated themselves to finding ways to make humans happy. Episode ends with this guy running up to the spaceship on which humans are being loaded. He is screaming "It's a cookbook!" Just going from memory.
