When a company has billions of dollars at stake and a reasonable question is posed and reasonable allegation are brought forth regarding its product safety - Ask yourself why such a company would not immediately finance independent scientific studies to be preformed to prove the allegations false. It's only natural to defend ones product but when ones chosen line of defense does not follow the necessary protocol to provide reasonably irrefutable independent verifiable scientific evidence then it's appropriate to raise the red flag.
Stop fooling yourselves otherwise.
