Thank you Obie, Pahoated, and Pete for confirming that the title of this thread is pure mudslinging. Obie, fracking is either a "technology that can't be used here" or an "emerging technology" that I'm blocking. Which would you like to defend? You can't have it both ways. Pete & Pahoated continue to refer to its irrelevance here, which has been clearly refuted by explanation of EGS, which is indeed relevant. Pahoated says my advocacy for a new Puna library, safer roads, a medical center, new ambulances, and local food are fringe issues with no relevance to Puna. Curious to me, but I'm sure he/she/it will explain this.
The Hawaii County Council passed the same fracking ban unanimously, yet I hear none of you accusing any of our Council for similarly wasting taxpayer money. Why do you suppose the entire Council acted so strongly in what you claim is an irrelevant issue? Thus you are selectively throwing stones in my direction for some other reason, not the fracking ban.
No one even attempted to answer my question: Specifically how did I waste taxpayer money? Passing a bill does not require taxpayer money.
