Your prejudice is showing. Lots of people use Macs here and don't have that problem, and we don't do that whole double cut and paste song and dance you are suggesting. Any operating system can get glitchy if the settings are off, I have used Macs, Linux, and Microsoft based machines for work and home use for years and keeping the settings clean is always important, no matter which operating system you use.
I had a friend apply for a job at Dreamworks as office manager for their legal division, which used Microsoft products exclusively, so she felt like it was safe to go off on one of her anti Apple rants during the interview. According to her friend in the office who got her the interview that rant cost her the job. Dreamworks wanted people who understood the value of using the right tool for the job, and were open minded about technology. Their creative division uses a lot of Apple products and the other divisions use Microsoft, but they did not want people who had an irrational prejudice against a whole sector of computer technology.
The whole Microsoft fanboy vs Apple fanboy thing is really juvenile in my opinion. People should use what works for them and quit making value judgements about other people based on what laptop they pull out of their computer bag. It's like judging someone based on what brand of car or truck they drive.
