My thought after seeing the current map? Well it's been active now about 31 years and just because we are NOT seeing much evidence of that on the surface there is no reason to think it is still NOT churning right below us still. Perhaps creating some new lava tube somewhere to give us a surprise ocean entry somewhere south of HPP. [:0]. Or maybe pressure is building now below and something big is about to happen [
