Sheep fencing VS Piggies
#4
my experience is that hair sheep will eat alot of things, but that wool sheep seem to just graze. but neither are as destructive as goats. (still love my goaties). but yes, you need to cross fense away from your gardens. the fense needs to be tough with barbed wire on bottom to keep out pigs. with the cost of fencing sounds like a deal, unless your friend is thinking electric fence then i would veto the idea. since i am currently fencing the heavy class iii good fence runs about a dollar a foot for the roll. (not including labor, posts, barbed wire etc. just the fence)
