Thanks @UKJ and @Shave Ice! I went with clover from homedepot @ 8/pound of seed. I bought 10# for 30.00 off of amazon but it seems they are shipping it on the barge or some such. Sigh. We are planning on building either later this year or next year. As long as it doesn't get over run like the current state of the untouched parts it shouldn't be too hard to keep under control. The stihl bush cutter is a beast and swings the .130 line almost too fast. :-( I am over 1/2 done with knocking everything down with the exception of the large stands of Melastoma candidum with large 4+" trucks which I will need the chain saw for. I have also been using the 2,4-D on all invasive stumps.
