O-Bob - I've never seen a UFO in my life, but I'm not one to say it's impossible for there to be other life somewhere out there. There's so much we don't know. I have to say one of my neighbors in Hawaiian Acres has told similar stories to what your saying.
The ONLY reason I'm replying to this thread is because I have one of those motion detector security cameras at my front gate that picked up a bunch of images last month that can't be explained. I've showed them to family and friends and everything else has been ruled out, helicopters, car lights, moon beam, etc. I don't know. Very powerful beam of light which moves, coming vertically from the sky from midnight to 2:21 am. There appear to be some kind of spherical shapes too in some images.
The images were captured on April 14, 2014, hours after the blood moon and lunar eclipse which makes it even more interesting. It wasn't raining and the moon was in the south west sky when these were shot. The camera is looking towards the East near the top of Ainaloa.
I'm going to create a new thread since I can't say it's from a UFO or anything like that.
I'll post a link as soon as I reduce the size of the very large images and combine some of them together.
I don't have an opinion as to what it is, I'm just calling it an unsolved mystery. I was going to post this in the previous strange helicopters thread, but Rob locked it before I got around to it. Aloha.
