Grundfos are super quiet pumps. But they're expensive ($400-$500 for a 3/4 HP). Got it at Waterworks in Hilo. The pump before that was purchased at Home Depot. We call it the blue devil. It does the job just fine...but neighbors two houses down can hear it when it comes on
