Earthquake at 1:13 AM in Mountain View
#1
Whoa...my first earthquake! Literally shook me awake. Or was this just Madame Pele burping after chug-a-lugging all that rain water?

OK, so I've been a Pollyanna about quakes. What's that website that shows how large of a quake has just occurred and where the epicenter is?

And what should I know about living with quakes? I know folks have said they go under their houses (for us on P&P) to check for damage. Should you actually try to leave your home during or after a quake (to avoid further aftershocks?). I'm happy to report that those huge sheer walls stood their ground, so to speak!!

Pretty excitin' stuff around here the past week! Enough already! My sweetie has been in Canada for 3 weeks and has missed ALL the fun!

OK, so tell me about quakes....

Katie, the innocent newbie who may have trouble getting back to sleep now....and yes, I'm sure lots of you will say, "THAT was no quake, that was just an itsy bitsy tickle!"[:0]

Wherever you go, there you are.
Wherever you go, there you are.
