Who would represent Puna?
#32
He wastes a lot of time and tax dollars on ridiculous positions. He is also a very slow learner. There was a geology presentation recently and this whole island is nothing but fractures, down to thousands of feet. He spent a large part of the last session getting a fracking ban put in place, totally ignoring the simple fact it is an oil drilling technique, and failing to understand that.

Name one bill that has funded a solid benefit for Puna. The library and parks stuff was going on before he took office. The local ER room is a study, nothing concrete coming from it. He failed to get funding for a waste water treatment. He tried to take a local special interest and raise it to state legislative level. He lost home rule for Hawaii county. All he shows is being a stubborn rock-head that is also a poor sport.

If you want to keep politics a popularity game, then so be it. He is the best candidate for absolutely no change for Puna.

"This island Hawaii on this island Earth"
*Japanese tourist on bus through Pahoa, "Is this still America?*
