This one is different from our usual pattern because it is forming so close to us. Usually they form way out in the Pacific somewhere and then fall apart when they get close because our waters are generally cool enough to not sustain the energy needed for a hurricane/cyclone/tropical storm. This time the cooler waters are bunched up to the North and East of us, and this thing is forming in waters the same temperature as the water surrounding our Islands.
Time to stock up on TP, no cook foods, and water for the storm season is really upon us.
