Don't you live in Leilani Estates? I doubt you have anything to worry about beyond perhaps having to drive down to 137 and down the beach road to get out on Kahakai or perhaps HPP and that's assuming the lava were to cross the highway. So in that respect yes, it's a good thing they are going to provide the alternate routes. The last thing we need is thousands of people getting trapped in Southern Puna.
