Once it's all blocked off, there will be a lot of opportunities for South Puna Anomaly Zone (SPAZ). It will be part sci-fi, part zombie, part lord of the rings and maybe even become a Hawaiian sanctuary. The weird aspect is PGV is an independent indigenous power source and could provide base load 24/7 power to all south Puna. Everything would be powered up, just you can't drive out of the south directly to north, only the long detour out Craters road or by water.
