There was a dentist in Pahoa, across 7-11. Wonderful old (yet young at heart) retired (yet ridiculously hard-working) Chinese-Hawaiian gent from Ka'a'awa (Oahu).
He only did dentistry on Tuesdays.
The rest of his time was spent building an enormous gorgeous sailboat (by hand) down in Opihikao.
The boat's name was Pueo, I believe...
....and the plan was to sail to Fiji ...with his dentist's chair aboard.
The sign outside Ed's office (in that little parking lot by L&L, the old Pahoa Chop Suey) read E. Ha.
