Thank you, Frankie, for your beautifully written perspective. I too have had to remind myself to stop worrying and keep loving this place which is my home.
I now limit myself to checking lava flow maps/info twice a day. Any more is superfluous and anxiety-provoking.
Then I go pick weeds, because, you know, I must keep up the yard even if there might be lava on it sometime.
