Agreed, Frank, that the larger problem with HPPOA now is the history of the membership being involved less than is needed. Two things that are needed for HPPOA to stay on the high road and which have fallen over are first, member participation and second, board of directors orderly transparent conduct (as in legal and according to the bylaws).
The second can only be sure to happen following on from the first.
What we now have is not a case of "us against them"; however, IMO, it is most definitely a case of "them" (the majority of the current HPPOA Board of Directors) not doing anything close to a credible job in conducting the association's business for all of "us".
