Waiopae Tide pools - I wouldnt suggest driving into the tide pools. Cars dont like swimming in them much although one did during the storm.
Parking is by mailboxes. There are signs showing where parking is as you come down Kapoho Kai. The Waiopae Rd / Kapoho Kai Dr parking area - as soon as the gravel area is cleared of debris from filling of containers - is going to be open to I believe 10 cars at a time. Parking out in front will be much longer to open if it ever does again.
There are fish, actually lots of fish as not many snorkelers disturbing them.
