Hawaii News Now reports that the lawyer of a Mountain View man who allegedly died as a result of an altercation with Big Island police in Hamakua is claiming that the FBI will investigate. Here's the link:

From the article: Vincent Burton, 57, died on May 20 of broken ribs and multiple organ failures. The Medical Examiner ruled the Mountain View man's death a homicide as a result of an “altercation with police.”
I don't recall seeing any local media coverage of this, but I could easily have missed it. I'm sure the police have their version. Anyone know more details?
