Exactly. I am done with trying to discuss it because it is impossible to have a reasonable discussion while people are distorting what my concerns are and how great. I just do not understand the need to do that. I'm feeling more psychological distress from the folks who say it is nothing and others are hysterical.

Look at who in the argument is distorting the other's position. The need to distort comes out of some inner pressure. If you can't allow other people to be somewhere in the middle, if you can't accept that the middle is a possibly rational position, there is something going on, most likely denial that anything can get out of control.
