Tiffany was not on my side or fighting with me. She met me as part of doing a story. Unfortunately, she charged into the story without any thought of how her injection of herself and demands would escalate harassment against me. She did not consult me at any time before injecting herself in these ways. She did not offer to be a team with me.
Only after she alienated everyone and herself became the target of cartoons for doing so, then she emailed me and said that now it had happened to her she could feel sympathetic at last. She had knowledge of it for 10-11 months before expressing sympathy.
Once it happened to her, she made the story all about her harassment, filed a lawsuit without any dialogue with me as to how we could work together, and used me as her support staff. She also made me feel as if it was my fault she was going through it, and I fell into the trap of feeling like I owed her any and all support I could give her. But she was the one who called certain people at home and screamed at them, not me. I would never do that.
Her lawsuit did not in any way protect me, in fact it left me as the "safe" one to harass and that has been ongoing for almost four years. I never received any real help of any kind, although I received various promises that were not kept.
Once she had protected herself, she cut me off and never offered sympathy again, including for the blowback I experienced from her getting her judgment.
I do not dessert and betray people who are there for me. I am very loyal. She never cared about me, and that is her right, and I accepted that a long time ago and got over it. I don't feel vengeful. She had her own cross to bear from stirring up the hornet's nest, and I am genuinely sorry she went through that.
I never would have said anything about this were people not taunting me with taking from her and being disloyal. I would never have given an opinion on her publically had she not decided she was running for office.
Tiffany takes care of herself. That is what she does. She's not a good person to elect to care of others.
You should take a look at her campaign disclosure that is on view for the public at the Elections office. It tells quite a story.
Ed to add, regarding that line you quoted snorkle, I doubt you have any clue what was going on at the time or how long we were into the process. But she is using me right there to make HER accusations stronger against the people she is mad at, and that is all I ever was. My experience was useful to her to show a broader pattern, but she never tried to become my friend.
In fact, when she got her friend at Hawai'i Reporter to write up her harassment case, the story was about a blogger getting harassed and suing over it, and somewhere buried in the story was a tiny note that there was "a woman" who was harassed before her, just enough mention to explain how Tiffany got mixed up in it. And the story also used my name in that line, without the reporter ever contacting me or asking me how I felt about being in it. Tiffany just gave him my name and never asked either, which is certainly not the behavior of a friend who is trying to help me out.
