laws not enforced?

Just to make clear: our way if life doesn't include ice use, child abuse/molestation, burglary, robbery, etc, all the really, really bad things. Back in the days there was barely any crime. With the population boom on our island in the early 90's until 2010, approx. 100,000 transplants moved in and so did the crime. (Not saying you're all bad, but with that much people moving in, even a small % of bad apples is way too much for this island.) So we (transplants and locals)do have some common ground. We are against some of the same things.
