Yeah, young people are convinced that they can multitask and do everything as effectively as if they were doing each thing separately on its own.
Researchers have proven that they are completely wrong!
I'm guilty of the same misconception.
I think I can listen to an audiobook and play solitaire or mahjongg At the same time and keep it all together.
I end up letting a lot of the audiobook go by me.
The fine is supposed to hurt.
If it didn't, no one would worry about it.
It would simply be an occasional fee you paid for the right to talk on your cellphone while driving distractedly.
Suck it up and put your cellphone away and keep it put away while driving.
Every time I see someone talking on a cellphone while I'm driving, I'm tempted to ram my vehicle into them.
Then, I decide it isn't worth the cost.
