Dedman's got a temper but bottom line his delivery worked, got another health study. As long as there are permits available to drill near residential/ag zoning we need more studies. We need a buffer zone, a big one.
Does the loud noise of drilling 24/7 for a month or so affect the well being of Native Hawaiian population adversely? Good God yes, it would have ill affects on anyone.
Once again the lack of empathy and compassion from the pro-geothermal crowd here is disturbing. I think you all should exchange houses with the residents affected during the drilling and then come back and tell us how your nerves are doing. Or perhaps you could all donate a fund for them to stay in a nice hotel in Hilo till it's done, including pet care fees.
