Island Naturals - Rant

I worked in a natural food store in the late 1970's.
We were told our prices were too high, we were elitist, we didn't carry a large enough selection of products, we were hippies, kids could stick their fingers in the bulk bins - - pretty much everything written here about Island Naturals.

There were five natural food stores in our town, everyone had their favorite store for various reasons. After 35 years of hearing slightly differing versions of this discussion I would say:

1)Some things never change
2 It's the nature of the beast
