Cop said sun was in his eyes, as he kills tourist
#36
P.Maise, you bring up a valid point regarding phone and text messages. My intuition tells me the officer may have not only been at fault for the accident, may have also acted irresponsible handling it afterwards. Wonder if anyone called in a hit and run, or man down, prior to the first recognized official call in or report?
Unless the victims family sues and I mean really sues, this really won't amount to much, or even change any parts of our highways for the better or safety for our thousands of cyclists. After closely following the handling of just a couple other suspicious accidents like the Mathison and Mossman past accidents that also happened along our highways, This won't amount to much more than some paid leave with some already served community service.
